First National Bank in Staunton on the corner of N. Elm and W. Main.

 

 

 

Pictured in the bottom right-hand corner is Ralph Oltmann. Mr. Oltmann served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a waist-gunner on a B-24 bomber that was shot down over France in 1943. He was a German prisoner of war until his camp was liberated by the Allies in 1945.

 

This was the interior of First National Bank in Staunton located on the corner of N. Elm and W. Main. Pictured are some employees, including former board member Louis Oettel. He can be seen leaning on the counter.
